Sisetta Zappone, artist, teacher and Master Printmaker will show you the fundamentals of printmaking on an etching press in a super fun, encouraging and supportive class designed for all levels.
You will discover Aquatint and Soft-Ground Etching and explore how to create rich tones and textures on a metal plate in this one-day workshop. You’ll learn how to prepare, etch, and print your designs using the etching press.

The course is run by Sisetta Zappone, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. Sisetta has had her work exhibited all over the world, including the Accademia del Disegno in Florence, the Print Biennal in Bilbao and the V&A. She is also super lovely, fun and full of positive energy and encouragement.
